From Guinea in West Africa, N'Faly Kouyate has taken wonderful kora playing to new audiences the world over with his band Dunyakan (the Voice of the World). He is also a member of the Afro-Celt Sound System, contributing to their award-winning albums and live shows. Inspired by jazz, traditional West African story-telling and the sweet sounds of N'Faly's native Guinea, the traditional instruments of Africa - kora, djembe and balafon - integrate with bass and drums to conjoure up a potent mix. N'faly is a charismatic performer, and he and his group are dynamic on stage.
