Gateshead Cohesion Mini Mela

Gateshead Cohesion Mini Mela will take place on the 2nd August and is going to be a fantastic day out for children and their families.

The Mini Mela will celebrate the rich diversity in Gateshead and also promote community cohesion through multicultural events and activities that young people have planned, such as balloon art, origami, cartoon drawing, Kathak dance performances, story-telling, face-painting and henna art. There will be plenty of things to do and we really hope you can make it.

We would really appreciate it if you could spread the word among your friends, family and colleagues. The Mini Mela will take place in Maple Hall at Gateshead Leisure Centre from 11am – 4pm. Entrance is 50p each and free for Asylum Seekers and this includes lovely South Asian food and all activities.

We look forward to seeing you.
