BME Job and Opportunity Fair

The Career Fair

Tousensemble CIC is organising The 2008 Career and Job Opportunity Fair for the BME on Saturday the 2nd of August 2008 at the Newcastle Civic Centre, from 10am  to 6pm. 

This is a one-day event open at undergraduates, graduates, apprentices and others looking for new employment. This is actually the first time such an event is been organised here in the North East, and we are making sure everything is right and precise.  

The career fair will give an opportunity for attendees to talk to potential employers and other opportunity providers, in an informal but focussed setting.

The theme for this year event is ‘’ BREAKING BARRIERS’’; businesses and organisations looking to succeed in the 21st century must understand diversity in order to reach a global market.

Tousensemble CIC is hosting this event to foster diversity within the community and the work place. We will use this event to change the demography and the new and emerging hidden barriers encountered by people from the BME community, and strike a significant blow to the barriers of discrimination that exist in the North East employment landscape and in the UK in general.

There will be opportunities available in Finance, HR, marketing, engineering, IT, Customers Services, manufacturing etc... 

We are expecting a big turn out to this event based on our researches and surveys.
