Black Arts Mapping

NECDAF commissioned Stella Magoye assisted by Sneita Kaur to research what BME artists are active in our region. The research has been funded by Arts Council England, North East.

The research identifies the range of activities being undertaken, where artists have presented their work, what plans they have for the future and the sources of support they have accessed.

The project is in its final stages. The report will be made available once work to complete the actual artists map has been completed.
