NECDAF Biennial Review 2008

We are promoting our plans to showcase the variety of arts activities from minority ethnic arts practitioners in North East England to run from October to mind December.

We are finalising arrangements to book six venues in two cities to present Visual Arts, Spoken Word and Acoustic Music and Performance.

We are inviting casting agents, artists managements and bookers to attend the showcases.

The project is expected to cost in the region of £36,000

The key aim is to establish a base-line of activity and the value of BME arts to the economy and community cohesion of North East England which can be compared when the project is repeated in 2010. We will be able to show the development of our sector and promote individual artists, groups and cultural organisations.
