NECDAF is a not-for-profit organisation run by a Board of Trustees elected at an Annual General Meeting.
Strategic Development Agency
We deliver services and activities that contribute to a strategy to improve the quality and range of Culturally Diverse Arts in our region. The basis of that strategy is formed at the quarterly Regional Meeting where the network of artists and partners meet to review the work of sub-groups to deliver on-going projects and update plans.
Cultural Diversity
NECDAF was established to support and coordinate artists and cultural organisations from new and developing ethnic communities in North East England. It uses cultural activities to bridge gaps of understanding between new communities and the established resident population. A priority is to help cultural professionals to improve their business practice and attract new audiences to their work.
